Focus Scriptures: Judges Ch. 4 - 5, Esther Ch. 1-11, Ruth Ch. 1- 4, Joshua Ch. 2, 1 Samuel 1:2- 2:21, Luke 1:31
I believe in the way the Lord designed men and women. I believe men are the stronger vessel that God has placed as protector and provider and priest of a home. I believe the Lord created men to be leaders that are called to lead their families well. I will not try to take that place because it wasn’t given to me. And honestly, thank goodness! What a responsibility to carry. But that does not in any way diminish the value and place the Lord has given to women. We are a helpmate but we are a helpmate with authority.
Deborah. Esther. Ruth. Naomi. Rahab. Hannah. Mary. Those are just a few names of powerful, courageous, and bold women that the Lord used to do mighty things. Some led armies and multitudes to victory. Some sacrificed in ways we could never comprehend. But every single act made a huge impact on lives and the Kingdom of God. Everything leading up to when the Savior would come. And so many more thereafter. Women are important to the Kingdom.
Contrary to what so many believe about the way God sees women, He does not deem us less than. If so, I don’t think He would’ve used a woman to bring forth His son. He’s God, He could’ve just created Jesus the same way He made Adam. But He didn’t. I don’t think Jesus would’ve chosen to appear to women first after His resurrection. And I don’t think He would bless women the way He has been since we came to be.
We are not amazing simply because we are women. We are amazing because of who made us. Because of what He has put inside of us. Because of who He says we are. And when we live our lives for Him He gives us authority that this world cannot take away. Know that you, wonderful woman, can do all things through Christ Jesus. And it’s only through Him that you’re able to do all things. Let Him use you to make an impact for His Kingdom.
As always,
Be pretty. Be you.
You are fiercely loved.

Amen. His kingdom come. His will be done. Here in this foolish heart, as it is in heaven.
