Ever Present Help

Ever Present Help

Focus Scriptures: Psalm 121, Psalm 46:1, Psalm 54:4

This is your reminder that the Lord is a faithful Father ready to help in every situation.

“Lord, I need your help and I’m sorry for not asking for it sooner.” Those words came out of my mouth at the Dollar Tree. Yes, the Dollar Tree. After about 5 trips to the store to figure out where my order was, I was told they either lost it or opened it, put it on the sales floor, and sold it. Mind you, it was almost a month since I first placed the order so this girl was not happy. Nevertheless, I remembered I love Jesus and kindly asked for a refund. This was a whole other story that required even more patience. Let me just say that patience is not my strength lol

They would not release a refund to me over the phone, and the employees had no idea how to in store. And no, my refund was not only a a dollar and some change. It was definitely more than that lol So, I was at my wits end with this situation when I finally thought to ask for the Lords help. I usually call on Him right away, but for some reason this time I didn’t. I ultimately left the store with no refund and no clue how I would get it. I gave them a call the next day and prepared myself for another crazy ride lol But, MY HELPER!! I gave the representative my order number and name and immediately he told me that my refund had already been processed and sent. Thank you, Lord!

Now, I could go on and on with several other situations that happened from these last few days alone where He has been the Helper He says He is, but that would severely lengthen this already long blog lol But my hope and prayer is that you would see that He is a very present help in all things. He will help in the really hard times, but also in the mundane. His helping hand is not limited to one genre of life. So, lift your eyes up to the hills and know where your help comes from…the maker of heaven and earth.

As always,

Be pretty. Be you.

You are faithfully loved.
