Focus Scripture: Jeremiah 29:13

I’ve been feeling like with everything going on around us this particular scripture is even more vital. I mean, don’t get me wrong, every word in the bible is vital, but I’m a firm believer in specific words for different seasons and this is one of them for now. I also believe that there is an awareness of our need for Him arising. Hearts are searching for what can only be found in Him. 

He’s looking for hearts that are seeking Him, especially in a world of so many different voices and options. He’s longing for us to long for Him the same way. He’s yearning to be found by those that diligently seek Him. He doesn’t hide Himself but He does wait. He waits for the invitation. He waits for the seeker.

I’ve been seeing this scripture all week so I know He’s beckoning me to seek Him all the more. More than I ever have before. And He’s beckoning you as well. Maybe it’s a tug on your heart, maybe it’s something you keep reading everywhere that’s drawing you in. Or maybe it’s a person reminding you that God loves you. It all leads to one thing…seek Him.

Seek Him with all your heart because He wants to be found by you. He will respond and He will meet you right where you are.
