Give Thanks To The Lord

1 Thessalonians 5:18 - No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

Psalm 118:1 - O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His lovingkindness endures forever.

In the hard, give thanks. In the easy, give thanks. In the valley, give thanks. On the mountain top, give thanks. In the land of plenty, give thanks. In the land of the desolate, give thanks. In the sowing, give thanks. In the harvest, give thanks.

This is His will. Not that we would suffer, but that we would give thanks to Him while enduring the suffering. For He knows that thankful heart is a joyful and faithful heart toward Him. One that will not be downcast but uplifted in who He says He is. And when in the season of providence give thanks because it teaches us to not forget Him. And to not forget that we are only there because of Him.

So, in all things, give thanks. His loving kindness is truly everlasting.
